Thomas and the boys used to meet up for wings twice a week after practice, so rest assured he knows his mild from his medium. He loves Crown & Dragon’s “smokin’ gun” wings even though the flavour eludes him.
In an epic battle for Chicken Wing supremacy, the Crown and Dragon on Yonge Street emerged as the victor yesterday after two hours of battling heavyweight corporate Goliaths — Jack Astor’s, St. Louis, Hooters, and Duff’s.
The setup was fairly simple. There were four different categories:
mild-traditional, hot-traditional, international flavour, and most creative taste. Each round, a different establishment cooked up their wings, and the Tortilla Flats staff served them in order to keep their origins a secret.
Amazing wings. Every flavour is delicious and well thought out. I thought St. Louis, Bistro, Duff's or Gabby's were good; then I tried these. Hands down, best wings in city. click to read more
